josh i like your thinking but also note you gain deception by checking flop behind - deception that lets you raise river OR turn and get paid off much lighter.

if you know he's betting most rivers, sure, but i think the check flop behind/raise turn line will confuse him so much you'll get a ton of calls. raising the river also looks fishy but he can never put you on a semibluff. even if your line looks suspect, it's still in the end going to almost always be a very good hand played non-standard rather than a bluff.
