Default Re: Theoreticaly If you were in a casino with 1000$ how would you play

i actually have a good blackjack book , "Getting a Blackbelt in Blackjack" which shows some good counting methods. although the problem is not the counting but finding a favorable game. Casinos arent dumb, in atlantic city you NEED to count to make it even odds which is still inaccurate. the single deck games they cut the deck halfway and reshuffle every like 2-3 hands depending on how many play. also they cut the blackjack win to paying 6 to 5 instead of 3-2, plus theres no surrender in AC except on spanish 21.

normal blackjack is 8 deck shoes with like 65% penetration even using counting on that is not very likely to help.. my first love was blackjack before poker and i just found the swings too unpredictable and i had winning nights and losing nights but it seemed like you could never get a true edge
