Yeah I like Slotbooms book despite it is not a textbook.

Actually I like it bacause it is not a textbook, it is just a semi biografi of Rolf in the process discussing his approach to the game. There is plenty of info how to play the game, whether you want to shortstack or play deep. Starting hands, position and betsizing is covered.

Half the book deals with the shortstack approach tho, which is ... well not to everybodys taste (I tried it, didn't like it)

But still it is a down to earth book and a plesant read. Unlike so many other books it does not pretend to be difficult and containing 'expert plays' that you most likely will not crasp immediately and so on ... nor does it assume that you are clueless and adress you in a schoolteacher tone of voice.

I liked reading it, which is rare in a poker book !

Omaha Poker by Ciaffone is the basic noob'ish text if you prefer that.

And How good is your omaha poker is the interesting book, fun hands, but played in very aggro deepstacked games, that more or less are nonexistant .. especially online. ...

No other book is worth buying with regards to PLO (high) as I usually say.
