Just like the Geico gekko, they just have two seconds to get your attention and build quick fakey rapport.
I lived in Vegas in the late 80's. I worked downtown in an office building and initially went to lunch at places like Sassy Sallies and Coin Castle (old downtown slot joints) until I found good restaurants.
It was amusing how the slot whores in those joints asked the same questions BUT DIDN'T WAIT FOR AN ANSWER before hustling Joe and Jane from West Undershirt to a "Hot Slot Machine".
After the first machine failed to hit, they'd hustle them to another "really hot machine". The suckers never failed to fall for the scam [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]
