Default Re: Visiting Moscow, Russia: What should I do/don\'t do?

I am russian FTW, but I was born in USA. Never been there, but have some comments:

Don't drink vodka/alcohol that ppl distilled, high rate of poison/death over there from ppl's homemade concoctions.

Respect church/religion. Very religious compared to western European places.

The food is nasty; greasy, meaty, bland, slaty, etc.. I really hate it, but to each his own. There are some russian meals I enjoy, but not many. Don't know what they are called in English.

Kvas is aright. I believe it has like 1-3% ABV (maybe more?),and is the National drink (like water in USA).

Moscow is expensive.
