People donīt seem to realise that
1. it wasnīt "just bottom set". I had the nut straight blockers too, so I was representing that, and fired the turn to build a pot I could fold out a higher set to on the river, in case thatīs what he did have.
2. if i check the turn, i give away that i do not have the straight. if i lead the turn, i am now representing either the flopped straight, or the wrap draw that hit. this makes it incredibly tough for him to call the river.
3. i also picked up a heart flush draw on the turn. spinoi says "re-eval turn". do you intend on folding? If he does have a higher set, well then I have a gutshot straight draw, flush draw, and an out to quads. with about 1/3 of the deck in likely outs if Iīm drawing, I canīt see myself check-folding this turn.
