She doesn't think she's fat, she just wants to make YOU tell her she is not fat. It's a power thing. Basically you're on an emotional leash.

Or as it is often referred to, she's fishing for compliments. Also perhaps trying to gauge your level of interest.

Here's one: "If that's fat, then I guess I like it a lot better than I thought." It still has enough fat in it to make them on edge enough to want to please, yet shows acceptance and desire without fawning. Plus it's good for cracking a grin. Unfortunately, it doesn't answer the question of whether they're fat or not, so you may get asked again.
