I got a lot out of NLHTP. In my opinion, it ranks with Doyle's chapter in SS as the best on no limit cash games.
I haven't read Syder's book, but I have read his articles, and I didn't find anything useful in them. He gets attention because he claims to refute classic works.
I don't know why Mason and others are taking him seriously at all. When Mason seems threatened by Snyder's criticisms, iit gives the impression there actually something significant in Snyder's writings.
