pfapfap and I have played in a number of these tournaments. The weekly is $125 with a single rebuy of $100, 1500 chips for both the buy in and rebuy with 20 minute levels. The monthly is $330 starting with 4000 chips with 25 minute levels.

The structure for the weekly is quite fast where from about midway on there gets to be less and less postplop play as more players get short. I final tabled last Sunday and managed a chop for 2nd when we were down to 2. Along the way at least 1/2 to 2/3rds of the table had less than 10 BB (including myself).

The $330 Monthly allows for more play. I've managed to get deep in one of these and I can definitely say the additional chips in play and extra 5 minutes make a difference, although I didn't cash. At least, as much that the tournament doesn't become a pushfest until much later.

Personally, I find the tournament well run and the dealers competent.
