Default Re: Buying in for more than one rack live

[ QUOTE ]
What difference does it make how much everyone else has? Do you anticipate 40 betting the river that often?

[/ QUOTE ]

Technically, there should be no difference. However, I still want to be able to back myself up in a game if the opportunity arrives. I too also do not like to have to re-buy in a game.

I also like to feel, especially in the beginning of a session, as not being the "short stack". Even though my play doesn't change, table image is very important. I know how much short stacks are attacked, especially at the yellow chip tables at Canterbury.

Not meaning to argue or anything. I know plenty of people who can buy in for 20BB and be ok with that. I am just not one of those people. (If my thinking is way off, just let me know...lol)

Can someone explain to me how table image is not a factor?
