I think I'd have checked the turn and river, and folded to anything other than a min-bet on either street.

Once the 4th heart hits, he has to worry that YOU have a big heart and are slow playing unless, of course, HE has the big heart. So, if he bets anything other than the min on turn or river, you can fold.

No need to "rep" a heart OOP on the turn, or "protect" your straight. The board will protect you if this loose-passive villain doesn't have a heart since he'll be worried that you've got one.

Oh, and flopping a straight on a 3-flush board isn't really a monster. If anything, it can be an invitation to disaster if you get a lot of action behind you from a LP like the villiain in this hand.
