at smaller venues it means you get in for free, usually you get on it because you know the band.
at medium venues it means the above, plus maybe you get a better seat or some drink tickets or something. or not.
at a big venue it means the above, plus maybe you get a backstage pass or something. or not. usually it will be specified when you get the tickets.
likely what this means is you can go in without paying, and not much else.
