What is the "no" doing in there? The permutations of this are almost endless. They can go "no no no yeah" or "yeah yeah yeah no", etc. I catch myself doing this sometimes, and I hate it.

I don't even understand what you're saying. I ask someone a yes or no question, and they answer me four times in rapid succession? I don't hang out with speed freaks or Jimmy Two Times, so I can honestly say I've never experienced this.
EDIT: If I'm talking and not making myself clear, and the other person says, "Wait, you mean ____?" and that's exactly what I meant, then I might say "Yeah" three times pretty fast. But throwing a "no" in there is so weird I couldn't even imagine it for a bit, if that's what you were talking about.
