My interview skills are great. I am very personable, and normal looking. I dressed well and all (suit, nice tie, etc). I've always been told that when I want to I seem very confident and professional. I had to do a mock interview for my career planning class (easiest. class. ever.) and the lady at the career center said I didn't need to practice, etc.

Ignoring the apparent praise from your career services lady, I think this area is where many (most?) people don't have an accurate portrayal of themselves. You might think your personable, but you simply might not be likable. Example: a guy I know in law school thinks he's the most personable guy around. In short, he thinks he's the networking king. Truth is, 80% of the people here hate him. That's an extreme, but regardless, I think it applies more than you think.
