Default Re: Simple quick question

Without reads Its tough to say. Heres what I mean.
I had a similar situation happen in a live 4/8 game. It was about 3 a.m. and the table was 5 or 6 handed. The # 2 seat and myself had been holding over the #10 seat all night and we were'nt exactly being humble about it, rubbing it in at every opportunity. Before that night I didnt know there were so many shades of red. This hand happened after his third buy in within 2 hours.

UTG +1 calls (tight passive player)
folds round to SB (#10 completely tilted)who raises
I re-raise In the BB with black sevens, UTG folds, # 10 Re-raises defiantly, I call
Flop is 864 with two spades
# 10 bets, I raise, he re-raises, I call (I felt like he was due to try and push one through, I was wrong)
Turn is the 4 of spades
he bets, I quickly call saying "You better hope a spade doesnt fall on the river because I hold a big one"

Sure enough T of spades falls on the river and a chuckle goes around the table. # 10s cheeks begin to glow again as he hesitates before he bets. I think it through and call.

He turns up red kings.

I say "I tried to tell you buddy"
