This is the group rate or just a random individual rate? And was it per day or for the weekend?
245/3 = 82$ That's actually pretty low for Woods in the summer. Remember this is a monopoly.
I would get a rough number of people and actually call and negotiate over the phone, hemming and hawing etc. Maybe if someone with a lot of wampum points talked to them... How many would we pack per room?
When I stay go down, I usually priceline a rate at the Raddisson in New London. but that is 25 min each way, kind of defeating the purpose of a group trip.
There is a real good place on the road to woods down by the Rotary, I think it is called Cedar Park Suites or something. Their prices were much lower than woods and only 5-10 min away.
