Default Re: 50nl AKs with position gets 3 bet

At the very least calls. You're heads-up in position against one player with a big suited ace. Let AQ and AJ hang around with you. At least two of the big pairs in villain's range (JJ and TT) are exceedingly difficult to play OOP in a large pot on later streets.

If you make a 4-bet, then you're committing yourself to get it all-in either before the flop or on the flop. With villain's stats, i wouldn't worry too much about getting all-in before the flop, but i think you more than make up your equity deficit by just calling.

My default play with this hand is to flat-call the re-raise and call/bet nearly every flop (including flops with aces and kings), and play poker with it instead of shoving almost 120bb into the pot at 45%.

Edited to say: If villain is extremely aggro on the turn (willing to fire again with air a significant portion of the time), then the best play might be to move in before the flop.
