Villian shows [Jc 7c] (two pair, Jacks and Sevens)

I was trying to explain to him that he should've reraised the minraise before the flop to get value out of ace-big hands, medium pairs (jacks/tens), also to see if he is against a big hand (pocket kings/aces). Instead, he let Villian hit a flop, and underbet pot entire way, with his opponent drawing on almost anything, maybe even 6-4h, any combination.

His rationale was that opponent "reraises and then someone calls he Cbets probably 100% of the time."

I also tried to take into consideration hands like KJ, where he will get literally no action on the flop if his opponent doesn't hit. As it is, this entire hand made me cry.

Suggestions? Agree with his thoughts? (No, you can't have his sn, but if you agree with him, pm me your sn)
