Thanks a bunch for doing this.

1. Since you'd never get to see an opponent's cards who does this, what sorts of things does a player need to do for you to pick up on the fact that they can make a reasonably "good" lay down? Something like AJ or KJ on a J high board, for example. And, is this even something I should waste my time with at the SSNL level?

2. And, more generally, regarding hand reading, are there other specific things that, if you see, you conclude that the player does this or that?

3. Say you've decided to add to your pre-flop 3 betting range against a particular player. Assume 100 BB stacks and that you have position on him. Do you prefer to add suited connectors first or more "junky" hands, like J8s? My thinking is that suited connectors are a bit too good, to 3 bet with, as we'd love to take a flop with them and would hate to get raised off of them, where as something like J8s, we don't care as much if we get raised off of it, but I'm not sure if it's "good" to 3 bet with things like J8s.

1. If they don't pay off my sets overpairs very often, i'll assume they are making big laydowns. Other situations are where they put alot of money in the pot where they can't be bluffing and then fold.

2. If a player minraises the flop alot I'm not going to give him credit for a hand. However if the player minraises very seldom i'm going to give him credit for a big hand.

3.J8s, don't reraise hands that have more value when you call.
