Beat: She's not a professional model, and the shot on the magazine cover isn't the best of the ones they took IMHO.
Brag: She's also in several large photos in a feature article inside, one full page, that all look really good.
Brag: I'm featured with her in the full page article photo - it's of the two of us having drinks in a pretty cool bar.
Variance: The magazine isn't like a high class men's magazine or anything, but it isn't a low budget tattoo magazine or shopping catalogue or porno or whatever. It's a pretty high end glossy travel magazine thing.
