Hi rakes,
I had a group of friends at that age that were into games, backgammon, spades, hearts, etc. It can be a fun inexpensive way to pass the time.
According to the
city website, there are some park activities coming up:
Day in the Park: April 21, 10 AM - 1 PM Heritage Community Park: Sounds geared toward children and famiies
Sounds of Spring Concert Finale: Apr. 22
A lot of bowling places will have discount days or rates.
Check your community center for things like inexpensive classes that might be fun, open swimming, etc.
Borrow new DVD's to watch for free with a library card.
I assume you guys are hooked up with a local young/college aged adults group at church that meets weekly? If not, and you can find one you both like it will be a springboard for more activities, will keep you focused and expand your social circle with like minded people.
