Please post improvements you'd like to see.

Mine:

I'd be eternally grateful for a "Switch to this seat" feature on the ring tables. If I'm at a table and a "luckier" seat opens up at my table, I'd love to be able to switch to it without having to quit, go to the lobby, rejoin my table, and hope that (any) seat is still there.

Imagine it... Two quick clicks and you're in the golden seat immediately to DooGie45's left, all without ever leaving the table.

Possible?

Haven't looked at all the responses.
Not sure I'm in favor of the seat-switching.

This isn't some new concept that only expert players know about.
I see it happening in live-play all the time by some really bad players.
So if the sites had it I think it would just be too chaotic and annoying at every table.

How dumb would it be for two or three players to be chasing each other around the table switching seats?

I had a couple situations on a couple smaller sites where it was easy to get up from the table and switch seats beause you just didn't have to worry about somebody else jumping in.

Some guy swore I was a terrible player (liked to trash-talk to me a ton) and would always get up and get position on me. Then I would get up and get position on him.
We would play a couple orbits and he would get up and do it again. etc etc.

Gets pretty silly after awhile.

I would find him on 2 or 3 tables and sit-down. If he had position on me to start (because I took the only seat available and it just happened to give him the advantage) I would let him have it. No biggie.

If I had position on him though he would always get up and switch so then I would try to switch back because I wasn't going to let him have position on me on every table.

I think Prahlad came on here a few months ago and was complaining about seat-switchers at the high-stakes.

In a 4-handed game at a 6-seat table I think it's generally agreed by the high-stakes players that you shouldn't get up and move to a different seat all the time because that's just inappropriate and leads to everyone jumping all over the place.
So if just one player does it then it's generally frowned upon because everyone else has kind of implicity agreed not to.

anyway, I can see seat-switching leading to all kinds of problems.
