I don't get when she says "I'm not just asking you because I don't have a date yet" meaning that she actually does kinda like you..... and you reply with "hah, I knew you were just asking me because you didn't have a date"

If you actually have prospects elsewhere then I'm fine with it. But if not this was a bad blunder.

Playing the hard to get as a guy route really never works. I tried it for a long time with no avail. It only worked for me once and that was this past weekend, but that was under extreme circumstances.... i.e. alcohol, Vegas, and she was already staying at my house and we didn't have enough bed space.
