I've never lived out of a major metro area on the East Coast, but I like Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Jerry Jeff Walker, Hank Sr. and to a lesser extent III- Lots of the newer stuff does seem to blow pretty hard. I tried out a Dixie Chicks album from a few years ago and yeeee..... But I do like songs about defensive driving and the Messiah- Hiiiiyaa!
