This could be to attract more US donks (like me) who don't want to play until 2am Sunday to cash in this. I have to get up on Monday mornings!

Or perhaps they don't want to compete with the other Sunday majors. I noticed that there's no $320 on Saturday afternoon anymore. I guess the $650 just replaces the $320 at that slot.
