I think you misunderstood 1p0kerboy's question. He's not asking about stoxtrader's book. He's asking about the previously unknown (to Mason) author's book.

I think Decsoft's answer was a good way to deflect the actual question. Mason shouldn't disclose what the book is about until he decides if 2+2 wants to publish the book (and cuts a deal with the author).
