I usually don't bet the turn, but since I did, I like my line. I actually didn't consider shoving the turn, which might be a better alternativesince he obviously has outs.

When he half pots the flop, I'm obviously gonna float a lot and he knows that. I thought he would fire turn again with a FD most of the time since it's not a made hand and I'm likely to be weak.

I think that when I call his turn c/r on that board, I'm showing a decent amount of strength, so I didn't expect him to bluff a blank river often. When the heart hit, I thought he would shove his whole range. (Maybe minus JT and Q9 which make it even better)

It's nice that it worked out for you this time. No doubt you will be bust within the next year or so with this line of thinking. People always think someone is bluffing them. I love it.
