The referee is absolutely terrible. It should've easily been stopped before the final KO.

I agree. In round 5 when Lyle fell into the ropes, the ref should have called it a technical knockdown since the ropes prevented him from actually falling down. Then, he should have given Lyle a standing 8 count. Instead, he let the fight continue and Lyle got completely mauled in the corner.
