I think the most annoying part is that most "African Americans" are several generations removed from Africa and aren't even American (I heard one news report calling Kofi Annan an African American and I thought "American? wtf? he's from Ghana and married to a Swede"). If everyone is "African [country]" just cause they can trace their lineage back to Africa, aren't we all African because that's where humans originated?
