The reason she's talking to you after 9 months is because she wants you to ask her to the prom. If this is because she's out of other options or because she's genuinely excited about going to prom with you, we don't know. However, that's the dealio.

Now. Do you want to take her? If so, "yes I'm going to prom, not sure who to take though. Do you want to go with me?" and if not, "yes, I'm going to prom. I'll see you there".

Also if you do go to prom with her, don't act as weird as you are in this thread. What I mean by this is, act like you're in a normal social setting, and don't continously bring up how you haven't seen each other in 9 months and it was so weird how you just messaged me out of the blue lol and all that. Again, normal social setting, not crazy myspace dude.
