I'm thinking streaming video doesn't actually hit the hard drive. There isn't more speeds to listening to music than listening to music so what will happen if you are playing music and doing other aps your other aps will lag a bit.

The advantage of 7200 speed drives is performance. The disadvantage is cost and battery life. If you are going to be running poker tracker with big DBs and you can afford the faster drive get it.
