my friend holds up her left hand annd makes the L, but then she'll hold up her right hand and turn it over so it also makes an L. When I see her do this, I just tell her she's retarded.
The other friend just confuses them when talking about them. She once sent someone on a treasure hunt where she mixed up "left" and "right" in the directions, needless to say it did not end well.
