Yes, my sister works for a police dept. This happens all the time. Call the court. Explain the situation. Go pay money.

Now, if they want alot of money or you think they screwed up then go get a lawyer. Your first action should be to call the court though. The longer you go without paying the warrant the more it costs.

Thanks very much for your advice. Courts are closed today, but I'm definitely calling first thing tomorrow.

I do have a lawyer I could call...but he aint cheap.

About what amount of $ would be reasonable for a situation like this? My gf's fine was something like 129$ for paraphenalia.
