a bank can still cash a check even if things are "backwards"
(asked my mom who was a teller/supervisor/manager for 22 years and she said they can)
Basically a check is just an IOU and LOTS of times it's the banks discretion wether they'll take a typo'd check etc. etc. Looks like your bank won't...as I said, get a new one, or make friends with your tellers [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
