I haven't had time to read through this whole list yet, but there's a really amazing documentary about Ernest Shackleton. I'm not sure if it's
The Endurance or
Shackleton's Antarctic Adventure, but it's an amazing story about how a crew of 28 struggle to survive after their ship gets stuck in the ice in Antarctica. It's an incredible story about so many things but survival in particular.
