Three men have been charged in the July beating death of a 27-year-old man at the Budget Suites near Desert Inn and Industrial roads, authorities said.
Las Vegas police were first called to the apartment and hotel complex at 1500 Echelon Resort Drive about 12:50 a.m. July 19 after the victim, Robert Amato of Las Vegas, called for medical help.
Amato was uncooperative with detectives when they arrived to find out what happened. He died later that day at a local hospital. The cause of death was blunt force trauma to his head, according to the Clark County Coroner's office.
