Thanks for the link Zpin. Any place you can recommend that's near where I'm staying? By the looks of the site everything is limit?

Tulalip is more like 45 minutes than a couple hours. It is north.

Muckleshoot is about 45 minutes south

Diamond Lils maybe 15 minutes south

Casinos in Shoreline: maybe 15 minutes north

No legal poker in Seattle city limits so that is as close as you are going to get. Lils and Shoreline are just outside city limits.

The NL at Tulalip and Muckleshoot is not true NL because there is a rule in Washington that you cannot bet more than $500 on a single bet. So technically is big blind-500 spread limit. But people call it NL and the bet limit is rarely reached.

Agree with your time estimates if he is going there with no traffic. My time estimates assume that you are making the trip after work on a weeknight (leaving at 5-6 PM or so). As with most places, travel times vary greatly depending on the time of day.

For D'Lil's its approx 10 miles on I-5 to 405, then 2 miles to the 405 exit, and another 2 miles on the surface streets, thats 12 miles freeway, 2-5 miles surface (depending on where he is at in Capitol Hill). The freeway portion is also particularly bad in rush hours. I stick with my estimate of 30 minutes on that trip, YMMV (literally).
