Default Re: Rebuys for home Tournaments - YES or NO

Here is how we play our rebuy NL tourneys which occur about every 5 or 6 tourneys.

The standard rebuy is t5000 for $40. At the start, you can make one or two buys. You are allowed two more of the same rebuy amount anytime up to the first break when your stack gets less than t5000. At the break, there is an add-on option of t7500 for $40.

These tourneys are very popular due to the action during the first hour and the decent stacks people have starting the second hour.

The cons are that the tourney lasts longer than normal and the host needs a decent amount of chips in his set. However, in my mind, this is well worth it.

Edit: I should have noted that in our freezeouts, we start with t10000 and first level 25/50. We keep the same blind structure for the rebuy tourneys.
