I like it as is, though I'm no expert.
You raised 4x the BB which isn't much compared to stack size but it should be enough to get rid of anyone who doesn't have something playable and might take the blinds right there... and you didn't risk a lot to try it.
Calling the raise, you were getting around 14:5 which isn't wonderful but you could take it on IO and fold if you miss. His raise almost certainly indicates a pair or AK and odds are his pair, if he has one, has you covered. The only way you're ahead PF is if he has AK and the flop would have just put you behind.
You missed, he bet, you cut your losses.
What's not to like?
