Default Re: Future of AC Poker ?

[ QUOTE ]
Now if PA legalizes poker rooms, that could be a serious hit to AC poker, but that's a ways away, they're going to see how the slots work out first (which of course makes no sense, legalizing slots before poker (well, it does from a tax revenue point of view so nevermind, oh well)).

You overstate the amount of PA players in AC. You must be a PA boy. Have you been to a PA slot parlor yet ?????? They blow. You can run a 100 dollar bill through a 3 coin penny slot and not get so much as a cherry for your 3300 spin's.

So once your gangster Louis DeNaples get's the card room laws passed and your ridiculous PA taxes get thrown in your going to have a situation just like the slots.

2/4 limit 50% rake up to 40 bucks. Yup PA at it's finest.

FYI PA players were leaving AC a while back for the foxwoods and other NY state property.

Amish don't play poker.

Also.... Any new mega casino ON THE BOARDWALK will steal business from the iteish... Borgata.

How much business will they lose..... I can't say. But all the borgataites will flock to the NEW AND SHINY casino that's closer to the boardwalk. Because as the borgataites will tell you the New Mega Property on the Boardwalk has shiny new pencils for the keno lounge.

Heh be honest people all a casino has to do to take over and dominate the AC scene to to find the lowest rake in AC and cut it in half. Wait six months till you have all the business, treat the customers right and then bump the rake back to average.

Oh yeah..... one more thing........ As far as you being a nit about spelling and punctuation and blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.... The point your trying to make is more important than my spell checker
