Re: Future of AC Poker ?

The problem about that train line is that it seems to be even slower than buses. I've heard predictions of 2.5 hour travel time, which if true would actually be a step back from Greyhound. With Greyhound, you can usually hop on at the last minute in Port Authority (unless there are retarded security checks), and drive straight into casino in 2 hours 15 minutes. And getting to the train station in New York won't be quicker than getting to the Port Authority bus terminal. The new AC train line sounds like a dud to me.

I don't hate Greyhound because of the time it takes, but because I've found it has poor service and more often then not you get stuck into a tiny space beside a smelly fat person. If its like a normal train you'll get just enough more space to be reasonably comfortable.
I was also hoping the train would stop at Newark which would save 45-60 minutes off the trip for me. Although if the cost is going to be $40+ I can't see the train surviving since Greyhound costs around $10 after the bonus.
