I agreed with some of your post, but checking behind is not a strong is weak, weak is strong thing. I think we are trying to balance the times we check behind with KK-TT, which I hope most people are doing at least some percentage of the time.
I check here sometimes, I bet sometimes. If villain has been calling 3 bets light, I'm much more inclined to bet so that I can stack a worse A. If he has been pretty tight, I'm going to try to get value out of a pocket pair by checking. I don't think letting him hit his 2 outer for free is that costly of a mistake.
