With all the action, there's no chance of declaring a misdeal. So yeah, this seems to make perfect sense, especially if the player was on the button.

Of course Robert's Rules (not to be confused with Randy Refeld's Rules) says...
"Dead Hands: The hand does not contain the proper number of cards for that particular game."

Hard and fast rule guys would say "dead hand" but this particular player was really playing at a disadvantage to bigin with unless he did something like Randy indicated, so I still like RR's fix in this situation.

Still expect nitty arguments from the losers of the hand if this guy ends up winning.
