Default Re: Peer to Peer transfer NET who do U trust ?

[ QUOTE ]
Is it accurate to say that the Neteller accounts that have been shut down over the last few days have been due to either high numbers of p2p transfers or because the money transferred was subsequently put on a gambling site?

In other words, accounts are not being shut down simply for doing one p2p transfer, correct?

not correct - there are a couple of posts here from guys that claim their NT was closed after one transfer (apperently)

I would not bet on the status quo continuing as is

I suspect NT security is snowed under with a/c closures and requests to re-open them - I've been waiting 12 hours, with no reply after sending docs - would not be surprised to wait a couple of days before hearing back from NT. I do not 'automatically expect' to get my NT account re-instated. I'll be happy of they give me back my account and will not cry if they refuse (sooner or later, they will refuse some unlucky person)

imnsho, I would put even money on NT being 'firmly encouraged' by the US DoJ to suspend all p2p until NT can demonstrate the implementation of better cross border control.

I would rate the risk of p2p transfer as becoming significantly higher as each day passes - the trusted original guys have ALL been shut down by NT - there appear to be a variety of low post potential scammers offering services, and sooner or later, someone is going to end up with (without) large sums of $ stuck in limbo.

Guys, however you cut the cake, this IS money laundering by any definition - be very careful and fully cognisant of ALL of the risks involved
