This is a spot where I almost always bet, but without really thinking through why. I think I still like a bet after some thinking. You have three types of hands you typically might get action from here (barring outright bluffs). Two hearts, Ax and two pair and better. Betting is probably better against two hearts as you might get it all in on the flop with him drawing virtually dead. Against two pair and better, I guess checking might be optimal as you have little FE by B3B and might as well try to see a relatively cheap turn, but you still have decent equity if it all goes in on the flop. I think my main concern in the hand, would be to maximize FE against Ax hands and I think you do that by B3B flop if raised. If called, there aren't that many hands that can stand a second barrel on the turn even if it's a blank.
