Default Re: Demonstration during the Superbowl possible ??

[ QUOTE ]
Hi

I am not american but i know your superbowl is a 1 A televised event, if really so many americans are pissed from the ban why not a demonstration there ?

One problem is that it costs upwards of $3000 just to get a ticket to get into the stadium at this point.

Another problem is that Dolphins Stadium is private property, so they have no reason to tolerate a protest on their property and would likely have protesters removed/arrested by security/police.

Another problem is that there's no guarantee a protest in the Miami area would get any media coverage whatsoever, particularly since the Super Bowl will be going on nearby and most of the media will be covering that.

Another problem is that there's a good chance most of the hotel rooms in the Miami area are booked.

There may be a few hundred other problems I'm not thinking of.

Also, there's a pretty good chance this thread gets locked and rightfully so.
