Default Re: alleged violation of student conduct code

This is pretty standard. If it's your first violation, it will probably just be a warning and that is it. You may be put on housing probation which means that if you get another violation in a year, then you have to do community service or some other [censored].

Might I also add, I hate how much f'in discretion these pricks have in assigning these things. If this were a criminal case, you would NEVER be convicted on such circumstantial evidence. Not only that, but at my undergard, we weren't even allowed to have lawyers come to our meetings for counsel. We were offered a deal (which was usually pretty [censored]) and told if we appealed it, then it would definitely go on our record. I know I said your first violation is nothing, but if they don't dismiss it, be very careful on your second. We had a propane grill in our apartment (always cooked with it outside, just had to store it somewhere) and we were written up for having "fireworks and explosives" just because we had some propane tanks sitting around.
