For some reason I had never really considered buying a game controller for PC. I know people do it, but it just never appealed to me to not play the game on the real console.
However, now I have a newer computer (my other one was 7 years old) that can run NES emulators smoothly, and I'm realizing that with a USB controller I can play Ducktales 2 and whatever else I want...
Are there any problems with using one?

no problems for me. Can also use the controllers for SNES emulators. I think the PCs advantages of never having trouble booting and carry physical cartridges almost balance out the loss of nostalgia feel.
