You don't know if this is a begginner overbetting aces (like they tend too) or a tricky experienced player bluffing with a hand you are beating. Even if you knew it was a solid player, is he bluffing by overbetting, or overbetting to appear like he is clueless and induce a call into kings or aces??? You just don't know at this stage. If you don't have enough info to have a solid read on a player, you don't want to be pushing vulnerable hands for all your chips. Lets say you call and you see ace queen, do really want to race for your tourney life this early? I don't. I just think that pushing marginal edges and attacking coinflips aggressively is a cash game play, when you can reload. In a situation where you can't reload, you avoid coinflips when you can. So, if I am confused early and can't put my oppenent on a hand, I pitch unless I know I have to be ahead.
