I just had this happen to me last night at Tunica (Horseshoe). I was buying into a 1-2 no limit game and asked for 180 in red 20 in white. The cashier handed me 2 racks, one all red, one with 80 in red and 20 in white, I absentmindedly walked over to my table, took my seat and began to unload. I got finished stacking the red, and it suddenly dawned on me this is way too much.

Now I'm thinking did I give her 600 ? I didnt think so, so I turned to the dealer, and said, "I think they gave me too much. She called the floor, and they reviewed the tape. Yep I got too much. I got a thank you hug from the brush (female) and the cashier (female). All in all I think I'd rather have a buffet comp.

One of the other dealer later told me I had probably saved her job since that kind of shortage is a firing offense (I take this with a grain of salt since it was said in a poker room.) But again, I'd rather have a Buffet Comp...
